Observation of Surface Ozone
Instrument: UV Photometer Ebara Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. EG-2001F
Data Processing: 10-minute data are calculated with 20-second sampling data. Hourly data are calculated with 10-minute data.

Observation of the Lower Atmosphere using a Tethered Balloon
   A radiosonde attached to a tethered balloon is used to observe temperature, humidity, pressure, and wind direction/speed to a height of approximately 1,500 meters from the ground. The collected data are used to study the lower atmosphere. This division is also responsible for testing and improving the equipment used for lower aerological observation.
